Job Description
We are looking for software engineers with an excellent understanding of digital video to help us build a variety of products focused on improving the video experience.
Our platform is used for Smart Cities, scientific, and industrial applications and supports multi-program transport streams, H.265 compression, and can collect metadata from Ethernet, RS-232, RS-422, ARINC 429, USB, and discrete or analog channels. It can encode, record, and transmit video from HD-SDI, Camera Link, USB 3 and GigE vision, IP, and analog cameras.
Responsibilities
o Build leading-edge rich video application software.
o Write software to transmit, record and encode video.
o Interface with transport streams and hardware.
Technical Competencies
o ffmpeg
o live555
o SDL
o opengl
o able to code with mac and windows os ( gcc, xcode, visual studio)
o Thorough understanding of digital video.
o Deep familiarity with RTSP, MPEG 2 transport streams, GOPs and NALs.
Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer.
