N3N joined the stage with Patrick Bass, CEO of thyssenkrupp, North America, this week, for a panel session on business adoption of IoT solutions at Enterprise IoT World at the McCormick convention center in Chicago.
Bass, drawing on his experience within his own organization, stressed the need to anchor Internet of Things projects in articulable business value.
He also spoke to his success in driving a data-driven culture through the organization, and driving successful IoT implementations from a business need and challenges perspective.
Cisco Systems, an N3N partner, also had a big presence at the event, with several speaking engagements, including a Monday morning keynote by Boaz Maoz, Managing Director, Head of Cisco Kinetic IoT Global Sales.
Maoz articulated Cisco’s Kinetic IoT data fabric strategy, wherein Kinetic extracts data, computes data and moves data, to make it available to higher level applications.
N3N’s smart city solution is integrated into Cisco’s Kinetic Smart City solution set, formerly known as Smart+Connected Cities.
Kinetic has additional product verticals organized around transportation, retail, energy and manufacturing.
N3N will also participate in the upcoming IoT Cloud Expo in Santa Clara, at the end of October.Events Enterprise IoT World, IoT Cloud Expo
